Dr. Christensen received his Doctorate in Optometry, Cum Laude, from the University of Houston, and has been in private practice for over 30 years.

Contact lens fitting and problem solving: Dr. Christensen is a contact lens innovator and has gained the reputation of being able to successfully fit even some of the most hard to fit contact lens wearers.
Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT): Because of his expertise, Dr. Christensen is one of the first eye doctors in Northern California chosen by Paragon Vision to bring this new technology to his patients. Paragon CRT is a specially designed gas permeable contact lens that gently and comfortably re-shapes the cornea overnight. You just wear CRT lenses while you sleep and then take them out when you wake up. In order to treat this syndrome, Dr. Christensen applies his years of experience to individually determine a proper prescription for computer glasses by using the unique Prio System. This system utilizes new testing technology to determine how your eyes react to a computer display monitor. Research has shown that the Prio lens allows your eyes to relax while keeping the computer screen crystal clear,enabling relief from computer eyestrain, and making you more comfortable and more productive at your computer.

Rimma joined our office in 2015 from Saint Paul, MN where she had worked in optical since 2011. She loves styling patients and making sure they are making the right choice for their eye wear needs. Rimma is pleasant and knowledgeable, and will do everything she can to make your experience in our office as fun and painless as possible!
Kyle, Optometric Technician & Billing Specialist
Kyle joined our office in November of 2016. He is currently attending Cornerstone Bible college where he is working on earning his Bachelor's degree. In his spare time, he enjoys going to Lake County to visit his family, hanging out with his cat and hiking new trails in Marin.
