Contact lens fitting and problem solving: Dr. Christensen is a contact lens innovator and has gained the reputation of being able to successfully fit even some of the most hard to fit contact lens wearers.
Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT): Because of his expertise, Dr. Christensen is one of the first eye doctors in Northern California chosen by Paragon Vision to bring this new technology to his patients. Paragon CRT is a specially designed gas permeable contact lens that gently and comfortably re-shapes the cornea overnight. You just wear CRT lenses while you sleep and then take them out when you wake up. CRT is a safe, non-surgical alternative to LASIK surgery and is ideal for near-sighted patients who do not want to wear glasses and are not comfortable wearing contact lenses during the day.
